3Putt > Packed and ready to go!

3Putt > Our hotel room at the NH Amsterdam Centre. Our room was on the first floor and we had a great view of the park and Queen's Day festivities!

3Putt > The room was small by US standards, but comfortable. We didn't spend much time there anyway, once we slept off our first-day jet-lag!

3Putt > Queen's Day celebration on the canal. Nearly one million people come in to Amsterdam for the holiday, many of them wearing orange.

3Putt > Big boats and little boats were out! The big one on the left is a canal tour boat.

3Putt > I took this to show the wisteria on the house, but it turned out to be a good shot of folks celebrating in the streets. See the orange hair on the guys at the very bottom, center?

3Putt > Public urinals. They were there just for the holiday. We were discreet and waited til no one was using them, but, we did see them in use! Yes, there was some overflow...

3Putt > The street in front of our hotel was closed to motor vehicles for Queen's Day.
