Arriving at the train station in Bacharach, Germany, in the Rhine Valley. We changed trains a few times to get here, first a high-speed "ICE" train from Amsterdam to Cologne, then a smaller train from Cologne to Koblenz, then a smaller train from Koblenz to Bacharach--actually, for us, 2 trains on that leg because we got off at the wrong station! Fortunately, a local was very helpful in showing us how to read the schedule posted at the station and we only had to wait about 20 minutes for the next train to Bacharach.
